Apple has introduced the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone, featuring a 5.4‑inch outer screen that folds outward to reveal a 7.6‑inch inner display. The inner panel is treated with a “nano‑texture” finish that minimizes glare and makes the crease nearly invisible.
The device replaces Face ID with a Touch ID sensor integrated into the power button, offering biometric authentication without the need for a front‑facing camera. It is equipped with a dual‑camera system comprising a primary lens and a secondary lens, though detailed specifications were not disclosed.
Apple highlighted the Duo’s compact form factor when closed and its expansive screen real estate when opened, positioning it as a bridge between traditional smartphones and larger tablet‑like experiences.
